Safeguarding our shared landscape.

The Friends of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park is made up of individuals and representatives of groups from Inverclyde, North Ayrshire and Renfrewshire.

Our mission is to promote public understanding of the Regional Park and its environs; protect and safeguard the ecology and the landscape; restore the habitats and the biodiversity of the Regional Park and promote inclusive access throughout the park in conjunction with landowners as detailed in the Land Reform Act and the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.

We are growing our partnership base in order to build capacity in skills and understanding throughout the Regional Park.

Got an idea for improving the the Regional Park?

We hope together we can create a landscape that will recognise the seismic changes such as climate change and other serious challenges in a post pandemic Scotland.

“We hope to undertake our aims and objectives in partnership with the three local authorities, landowners, local businesses, the volunteer sector and most importantly the local communities.”

Joseph Greenlees, Chair of Friends of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park
